PVG-C 96 - 3 Product Top Soil Screener
The PVG-C96 Model topsoil screener is a three product unit -it is designed to screen up to three different types of materials including soil, sand, gravel, composted materials, wood grindings and more! The PVG-C96 integrates with your skidsteers, compact loaders and bucket tractors to produce 30 to 50 yards per hour depending upon the size of your machine's bucket and the screen size.
Engine and Drive
The PVG-C96 is powered by a PS200 engine with a 6:1 built in gear reduction. From the engine, power is transferred through four B style belts on our self aligning clutch cluster. The self aligning clutch system was designed for even belt tension and alignment. Power then is divided to the twin eccentric screen deck assembly and the medium product discharge conveyor. At full RPM the screen deck will move up and down, 400 times per minute, while the discharge conveyor travels at 700 feet per minute.
Screen Slope Adjustment
This unit comes with an extendable leg kit that will allow you to change the slope of the screen deck from 45 degrees to 36 degrees to adjust for varied soil conditions.
Feeder Adjustment
The PVG-C96 has a unique feed system designed to allow the operator to adjust the feed gates and metering wings to obtain the desired material flow over the screen deck.
Moving the Unit
You will find this PVG-C96 to be very well built. The shell is formed out of 3/16" plate for long term wear and durability. This screener weighs in at 2200 lbs and can be moved around the job site by inserting your buckets cutting edge into the lifting lugs, or it can be transported using pallet forks in the lifting pockets.
Screen Sizes
There are eight screen sizes as well as three scalping screen sizes available to choose from. The screens for the PVG-C96 are 44" x 95-3/4" and can be changed in approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The screens come in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2" sizes. Scalping Screen sizes are 1", 1-1/2" and 2".
